- In South Africa, the authorities have closed down the influential liberal paper, the Weekly Mail, for a month. The Government’s used its emergency powers to ban the paper, but the move has enraged the anti apartheid movement. Nigel Wrench reports from South Africa, and talks to the editor, Anton Harber and Nadine Gordimer, author, about the ban.
