Bill Wyman – the bass guitarist for the Rolling Stones – talks to Michael Parkinson about his book ‘Stone Alone: The Story of a Rock ‘n’ Roll Band’ which covers his poor childhood and the early years of the Stones and how the writing of it was quite therapeutic. He also touches upon his wife Mandy Smith who is ill; his reputation as a ladies man and the funeral of Stones’ guitarist Brian Jones.
