Police have revealed that the man they want to question about the disappearance of schoolgirl Anna Humphries replaced his car windscreen on the night she vanished. Following yesterday’s reconstruction of Anna’s last known movements, they are also interviewing five new witnesses who believe they saw David Evans’s green Allegro, which he was driving when 15 year-old Anna disappeared. From the missing girl’s home village of Penley in North Wales, John Alcock reports. Inspector John Hughes Jones comments on the case, and appeals for further witnesses.
