- Conservative MP Sir Patrick Cormack on today’s General Synod vote by a narrow majority, and despite opposition from the Archbishop of Canterbury Dr George Carey, to take account of a Church of England working party report suggesting living together should no longer be considered a sin, whilst restating its commitment to marriage. Cormack voted for the report to be thrown out completely and explains his reasons and support for Dr Carey’s view. Female interviewer not idnetified.
