- Description
- Nigel Wrench reports on tighter restrictions by the South African authorities on opposition activity. They have banned all meetings to protest at the conviction of several political leaders for high treason. The men are facing long jail terms and a court is currently hearing evidence. In Johannesburg, police forcibly stopped a church service, called to pray for the convicted activists. Includes sermons by the Reverend Allan Boesak and the Reverend Peter Storey. Audio poor quality (muffled).
