Kevin Murphy reports on the auction of a Picasso painting, Acrobat and Young Harlequin, which has gone under the hammer for nearly twenty-one million pounds at Christie’s auction house in London. The Japanese buyer was later revealed as Akio Hishima, purchasing on behalf of the Mitsukoshi department store. Includes interview with auctioneer, Charles Allsopp; Mark Ray(?), Christie’s.
