Description
Brian Widlake interviews leader, Neil Kinnock, at the end of the Labour Party conference in Brighton. The conference delegates have rejected proportional representation, and promised to restore NHS control to any hospital that opts out and becomes self governing. It overcame a row about Black only sections and has ended on a high with the rise in interest rates. Neil Kinnock comments on these and says the best achievement is gaining the trust of the electorate.
