Interview with the Government’s Chief Medical Officer, Sir Donald Acheson, about a new health warning following the outbreak of twenty-six cases of salmonella poisoning linked to raw or undercooked eggs. The official advice is for the public to only eat eggs that have been boiled until the yolk is hard. He says the chances of getting an infected egg are incredibly small but precautions must be taken. No interviewer is heard.
