- Description
- Phil Edwards reports on the continuing captivity of Church of England special envoy, Terry Waite, who has now been held in the Lebanon for 1000 days. He disappeared in early 1987 while trying to negotiate the release of other Western hostages in Beirut. Since then there’s been no reliable sighting of Waite, but his family and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Robert Runcie, still believe he’s alive. Includes interviews with John Waite, cousin; Robert Runcie.
