Description

Mark Percy reports on a shoot-out between police and a robbery gang in Acton, West London. Includes interview with John O’Connor, Flying Squad; Thomas Ray(?), eyewitness. Two police officers were wounded during the shooting: Detective Sergeant Stephen Thomas, and Detective Sergeant Alan Knapp. (Two men, Brian Beckford and Andrew Clarke, were later convicted at the Old Bailey (1989) over the offences).
