- Chief union negotiator John Miller was pleased that the British Oxygen Company (BOC) ignored Prime Minister James Callaghan’s five percent wage increase guidelines during their negotiations. Miller claims that the offer he has received is much higher than eight percent and that they are yet to negotiate bonus schemes. Management spokesman John Wilcox(?) adds that the company is not worried about Government sanctions. Paul Davies reports.
