- Description
- Press interview with George Churchill-Coleman, head of Scotland Yard’s Anti-Terrorist Squad, on a police hunt in London for two suspected IRA terrorists whose cover was blown after a bizarre incident in Battersea in which a youth was shot as he attempted to break into a car, not knowing that a gunman was asleep in the back seat. The man fled into a nearby block of flats in Staplehurst Court, Battersea. Police later entered a flat and discovered a massive cache of arms and explosives. The youth was named as Lionel Barratt.
