US President George H.W. Bush has agreed to have talks with Iraqi President Saddam Hussein now he has been given authority to use force if necessary if Iraq is still in control over Kuwait by the imposed January 15th deadline. President Bush is sceptical President Hussein will agree and reassures forces families if war is necessary it will be short. Nick Peters reports from Washington for LBC Newstalk Breakfast.
