A Brighton businessman, Anson Lane, has become the proud owner of the world’s only Elvis numberplate and speaks about obtaining it for £60,000 at an auction at Christie’s despite not yet owning a car. It was expected to fetch up to £200,000. Julie Sedgwick reports.
