- Paul Maurice reports on how the so-called Desert Rats have been preparing for combat in the Gulf, their day-to-day lives, food and home comforts. Morale is high in the 40th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. Gunners Mel Solway and Barry Ashcroft talk about food; Group Captain Jim Room says that despite constant stress, patrol morale is very high and the pilots enjoy flying.
