- Marion Shergold, mother of 11 year-old terminal cancer sufferer Craig, has received over 33 million get well cards and has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Senders from around the world include celebrities (Kylie Minogue, Michael Jackson), royalty (HRH Duchess of York) and world leaders (George Bush, Margaret Thatcher, Mikhail Gorbachev). The family, of Carshalton, Surrey, have begun to recycle the cards and stamps for charity. Report by Helen Costello.
