Description
Speech by British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to mark the 40th anniversary of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York. She harks back to Winston Churchill’s Fulton speech of 1946, and goes on to pay tribute to the work of the UN. Applause at end of speech followed by brief distortion of audio before an assembly official requests an escort for the speaker.
