Description

Report on an attempted Great Train Robbery copycat raid on a London to Liverpool overnight train, in which the raiders obtained a duplicate key to the mail carriage and sprayed a guard in the face with ammonia as they were surprised rifling through mail bags. Includes interview with Detective Superintendent Alan Botwood who appeals for information. Female reporter not identified.
