After the US Government was found to be selling arms to Iran and using profits to fund Nicaraguan rebels (Irangate or Iran-Contra affair), President Ronald Reagan addresses the nation on television, and states he will appoint a special prosecutor to carry out an investigation into the affair. Also says his policy is to stop all terrorism.
