From Tel Aviv, IRN’s Peter Allen-Frost (who signs off as Alan Frost) presents a feature on the life and political career of former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir following her death on 08/12/78. Meir describes moving to Palestine in 1921 and says the people of Israel cannot afford to be pessimistic. She also discusses her decisions made during events leading up to the Yom Kippur War and her reasons for not using a pre-emptive strike.
