- Conservative MP Ian Gow discusses Northern Ireland and the gaffe made by Northern Ireland Secretary Tom King (who declared that the Irish Prime Minister knew the Anglo-Irish Agreement would never create peace in Ireland when he signed it). Gow resigned his ministerial post over the Hillsborough Pact, despite being one of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s supporters. Tom King apologises in the House of Commons. The interviewers are Douglas Cameron and Peter Deeley.
