Description

Hanns-Martin Schleyer was kidnapped on September 5 1977 by the Red Army Faction in Cologne who tried to use him to blackmail the German government into releasing members of their terrorist group. Paul Treuthardt reports from Paris back to unidentified studio reporter on a statement and photo of their hostage received in Paris from the kidnappers demanding that all searches for them should be abandoned.
