Description

Gerd Moyer(?) reports on West German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt’s TV appeal for an end to the kidnap situation of Hanns-Martin Schleyer by members of the terrorist group Red Army Faction. Schmidt said patience and perseverance will continue as the case has being going on for 2 weeks. Has rejected stiffer laws for terrorists such as death penalty but will build up security forces. German businessmen are improving their personal security.
