- Description
- Brian Hayes talks to Russian pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy, who interprets the work of the great composers. Ashkenazy talks about his life as a child in Russia, his interests, and his rise into the world of classical music. Hayes finds out why he left his native Russia to pursue his career in the democratic West. Askenazy takes questions via a phone-in from the public, and plays some live music on the piano.
