Description

Report on the sighting of a bear in Hackney Marshes by four young boys. Police were worried because there were a large number of footprints in the snow and two dead, skinned bears had previously been discovered in the nearby River Lee, but the search was called off after 3 days when no further evidence could be found. Includes interview with Chief Superintendent David Stevens of Hackney Police. Male reporter not identified.
