Description
Series of archive recordings from UPI about the Japanese attack on the American airbase at Pearl Harbour in 07-08/12/41. The clips were used on the fortieth anniversary of the bombing. Include President Franklin D. Roosevelt announcing the attack; Roosevelt asking Congress for a Declaration of War; President Harry Truman announcing the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima; General Douglas MacArthur at the signing of the Japanese surrender.
