- Michael Thompson, a Liverpool supporter who experienced the Hillsborough Stadium disaster, talks about the day, how police failed to control crowds at the entrance to the ground, how the gate was opened at the side by a police officer, how the gates to the side stands were closed causing everyone to enter a tunnel to the centre stand, the crush that resulted, how a man died in his arms and a boy died in his father’s arms, and how he screamed at police to help him out of the stand and to help the other supporters. Interviewer not heard.
