- In this edition Maeve Binchy talks to Tricia Ingrams. She is an Irish novelist, newspaper columnist and speaker. Educated at University College Dublin, she worked as a teacher, then a journalist at The Irish Times and later became a writer of novels and short stories. She talks about her life in Ireland, and the adjustments she made in moving to England; the differences between the two countries including the political views; role of women in the media; rise of women writers in the press.
