Description

As the General Election race heads into the home stretch, the SDP-Liberal Alliance appears to be making up ground on the two leading parties. SDP leader David Owen claims the Alliance will have the public behind them, as its campaign has been honest and true. Margaret Thatcher defends the Conservative campaign whilst criticising Labour’s, and says that, although it may not come across, she really does care about people. Neil Kinnock responds to this.
