Professor Norman Morris, the first obstetrician to allow husbands to be present at the births of their children, says he wants to make childbirth in National Health Service hospitals a much more positive experience for women. He says there needs to be a rationalisation of services in the NHS and some units will be forced to close while others will expand. Female interviewer not identified.
