- Programme on the Miners’ Strike, presented by Peter Spencer. Considers police action in response to flying pickets. The police are now better equipped and taking a much harder stance against secondary pickets. Some unionist activists feel the police are being heavy-handed. The programme examines the state response to the situation, and implications for the public at large and asks, are the police becoming political?
