Description

Decision Makers, presented by Peter Murphy, looks back at the last session in Parliament, and looks at the state of the political parties. David Steel from the SDP-Liberal Alliance claims that Tory rule has been disastrous, and that his party has risen and will be a political power in the future. Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock agrees the Tories have made mistakes but claims that the SDP-Liberal Alliance is not as powerful as Labour. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher states that Conservative Party morale is excellent, and discusses the economy and the strike possibilities.
