Description

Our Kind of Town, presented by Greg Strange. This edition looks at and visits Christopher Wren’s Temple Bar which once stood on the edge of the City of London but is now located in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire. There are now plans to restore the structure to London. Includes interviews with members of the Temple Bar Trust: Charles Puckett, Sir Edward Singleton, Sir Hugh Wontner, Wanda(?) Tinker(?), Commander Charles Shears of St Paul’s Cathedral. Break in recording where music and news edited out.
