Saxophonist and manager of Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Peter King talks about his career, with reference to the BBC, and musicians: Bob Burns; Dave Shand; Phil Seaman; Sammy Stokes; Max Harris; Jimmy Watson; Harry Roach; Jimmy Wilson; Don Lusher; Jimmy Deuchar; Norman Stenfalt; Lennie Bush; Tony Crombie; Ken Wray; Derek Humble; Benny Green; Zoot and manager Harold Davidson. Programme also includes musical tracks: A Room with a View, by Noel Coward; Virginia, sung by Len Lees and featuring Paul Fenoulhet on trombone; Ronnie Scott playing Steven Stondheim’s Send in the Clowns.
