- Interview with two American eyewitnesses (not identified) on the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul II in Rome (13/05/81). Interviewer not heard. Italian authorities later identified Mehmet Ali Agca, a Turkish terrorist and escaped murderer, as the man who fired four rounds from a 9-millimeter Browning automatic pistol, hitting the Pope at least three times.From a series of news clips from the 1980s used in a retrospective compilation at the end of the decade.
