- Report on violence in Belfast where a man (Sean Downs from Lenadoon) died, and up to twenty people were injured, when the RUC moved into a three thousand-strong crowd wielding batons and firing plastic bullets, in an effort to capture Martin Galvin, the NORAID director who defied an order banning him from the UK. Includes speech by Sinn Fein president, Gerry Adams, and screams and shouts of the crowd. Female reporter not identified. From a series of news clips from the 1980s used in a retrospective compilation at the end of the decade.
