Final part? of adaptation by Charles Causley of Dylan Thomas’ play The Doctor and the Devils based on the true story of the infamous bodysnatchers Burke and Hare, who resorted to murder to make money from the supply of bodies for anatomical research. Actors: Roger Alleman, Simon Malloy, Tim Iremonger, Robert Warner, Gerda Stevenson, Alison Rose, Andy Rashley, Richard Brian, Liz Brielsford. Music by Stephen McNeff. Produced by Tony Hawkins and Mark Radcliffe with help from Contact Theatre Company and its artistic director Richard Williams. Originally from Piccadilly Radio.
