Imperial Echoes - a programme marking 30 years of Indian independence from Britain. Begins in Calcutta, with an interview with gentleman’s club owner Bob Wright, before moving on to Bengal Cricket Association treasurer Triyagmohan(?) Galmaya(?), author Theone(?) Wilkinson who raised money to renovate cemeteries in Calcutta, and the owner of the Windermere Hotel in Darjeeling, referred to as Mr Tenderflower(?), who talks about the years of British rule. Male reporter not identified. Recording speed increases and decreases, with some distortion of audio. Parts in mono.
