Description

Episode of a reading of Bram Stoker’s novel, Dracula. Lucy writes a letter to Mina in which she recounts how three suitors proposed to her in a single day. She also invites Mina to come visit her in Whitby, which Mina does. We hear journal and diary entries by Mina and Dr John Seward, manager of a lunatic asylum. Mina receives an uncharacteristic letter from Jonathan, telling her that he has left for home, but nothing further. Lucy is restless and sleepwalks. A Russian ship comes ashore, with a load of boxes filled with earth. Male reader not identified.
