Career
Bonney Powell was a newsreel cameraman who filmed in Finland for ‘M. TANNER ANNOUNCES FINNISH ARMISTICE’ in British Movietone News No.563A of March 1940. Movietone then employed him as a war camerman for the Norwegian campaign in April and May 1940. Powell and his work were featured in ‘RETROSPECT ON NAMSOS’ in British Movietone News No.571 of May 1940, where he was described as ‘Movietone cameraman Bonney Powell who found himself under fire.'
