Career
Eamonn Andrews was recruited by Howard Thomas of Pathe as a commentator for the Pathe Pictorial, in the late 1940s, at the fee of £163;5 5s. a week. He went on to enjoy a notable career in television, presenting such programmes as ‘WHAT’S MY LINE?', ‘THE EAMONN ANDREWS SHOW’ and ‘THIS IS YOUR LIFE’.
