Jim Allen directed London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information. These films were shown throughout the Commonwealth in two editions, ‘Old Commonwealth’, for countries that had recently joined primarily Africa and the Caribbean and ‘New Commonwealth’, which included more established members such as Canada and Australia. He worked for the production company Keith Ord Production and directed one of the first issues, ‘BEATLES’, London Line No.2 (Old Commonwealth version) released in 1964.
