Ruth Steele was one of the writer/researchers of the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line, a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information [qv]. These editions were shown in countries which had recently joined the Commonwealth, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. She researched one of the earlier issues, ‘Marjorie Sigley’ London Line No.174, released in 1968.
