Career
Vincent Corcoran was a freelance cameraman first credited with a series of Movietone stories from Ireland, beginning with ‘MEMORIAL TO PIONEERS’ in British Movietone News No.1567A of June 1959. Corcoran also filmed the visits to Ireland of Princess Grace of Monaco - ‘VISITING IRELAND’ in No.1672 of June 1961, and John F. Kennedy - ‘THE KENNEDY CAVALCADE’ in No.1778 of July 1963. Corcoran also provided material for Pathe, where his credits start with ‘IRELAND DRAW WITH WALES’ in No.62/94 of November 1962. Corcoran’s last credit is for ‘IRISH DERBY SENSATION’ in British Movietone News No.2039A of July 1968.
