Career
Annabel Olivier Wright, was a programme editor and researcher/writer on the ‘New Commonwealth’ versions of London Line (1964-1978), a magazine programme produced by the Central Office of Information (COI) [qv] for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office [qv] and shown primarily in Africa and the Caribbean. She is credited as programme editor and researcher for ‘Concorde Research’, London Line No.245, released in 1969. From 1971, she is regularly credited as researcher/writer for another COI series, This Week In Britain (1959-1980), such as ‘BRASS BAND’, This Week In Britain No.666, released 1971, as well as London Line issues including ‘ATLANTIC COLLEGE’, London Line No.514, released in 1976. By the final editions of This Week In Britain in the late 1970s she was producing the programme.
