Career
Peter Greenway joined the Central Office of Information (COI) [qv] in 1965 and worked there for just over a decade as a film editor and then director. During this period he worked on four magazine programmes, produced by the COI for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office [qv], London Line (1964-1979), This Week In Britain (1959-1980) and the science series Living Tomorrow (1969-1983) and Tomorrow Today (1969-1974). Some credits include ‘Festival Of Islam - Introduction’ London Line No.520A, released in 1976, ‘Eddie Kydd’ This Week In Britain No.1018, released 1978, ‘LEEDS CASTLE’ This Week In Britain No.1089, released 1979 and ‘INSTANT GOURMET’ Living Tomorrow and Tomorrow Today No. 13, released 1969. He continued to work for the COI into the early 1980s on issues of the Insight series such as ‘Zandra Rhodes’, Insight No.1 (1989) and ‘The Sea In Their Blood’ (1983).
