Career
Paul Dickson began his career in 1940 as a photographer with the Army Film Unit. He went on to work as an assistant to Paul Rotha at Films of Fact [qv]. During this period, he is credited as cameraman for several Britain Can Make It issues, including No.11 of 1946 and No.14 of 1947.
Dickson went on to become an accomplished documentary film director, whose films include ‘THE UNDEFEATED’ (1950) and ‘STAR OF MY NIGHT’(1954). He later went into television.
