It is likely that Dupont was a cameraman for the American Paramount company. He is credited for several stories in British Paramount News, beginning with ‘TUG STRIKE PARALYSES NEW YORK’ in No.1563 of February 1946, and ending with ‘FLYING BOAT OCEAN RESCUE (FIRST PICTURES)' in No.1738 of October 1947. Evidence suggests that all of these stories were made up of footage from Paramount (America).
