Griggs was a cameraman with Pathe, whose first surviving credit is on the camera team for ‘THE DERBY’ in Pathe News No.49/45 of June 1949. He continued to work on occasional major events, such as ‘FUNERAL OF LORD WAVELL’ in Pathe News No.50/47 of June 1950, and ‘THE DERBY 1951’ in No.51/44 of May 1951. From August 1951 his credits are more frequent, and they continue until ‘THE DERBY’ in Pathe News No.55/42 of May 1955. Griggs then returned for two later stories in December 1960 and May 1961.
