Career
Louis Morrison was a freelance cameraman based in Belfast who supplied Pathe with material for ‘EIRE LEAVES THE EMPIRE’ in Pathe News No.49/33 of April 1949. He also supplied Paramount with material from Ireland for ‘THREE HUNDRED PERISH IN CYCLONE WEEKEND’ in British Paramount News No.2289 of February 1953. His headed notepaper at this time announced him as ‘Artist and Cameraman.' Morrison was later credited for two Movietone stories, ‘I.R.A. BOMB OUTRAGE’ from Dungannon in British Movietone News No.1442A of January 1957, and ‘BETWEEN THE TOWERS’ in No.2084 from May 1969.
